Terms and Conditions 

The decorating fee is based upon the amount of guests anticipated, the type of service requested and decorating materials required. Location fees will be charged if the event is outside of a 15-mile radius of Studio S. Events.

A MINIMUM of 4 hours must be agreed with the venue for me to perform the work. More time may be requested depending on magnitude of event. A Minimum of 2 hours is required for breakdown/ clean up. Setup and clean up times will be decided with venue prior to event date. Should these requirements not be met, additional fees may accrue.

Studio S. Events will only be responsible for services undertaken by Studio S. Events. All services, arrangements or additional decorating made directly by the client, is the responsibility of the client.

It is required that the client will provides contact details for a 'point of contact' for the event day (Not the venue coordinator).

It is required by the client to communicate with the venue to ensure that tables, chairs, linens, and any other venue provided items are set up prior to my arrival.

If you are utilizing the same room for ceremony and reception and/or intend to use design elements from your ceremony at your reception, you will need to arrange décor setup changes with the venue.

Once a package and price have been agreed upon (contract will be provided), the client may not receive a reduction in price due to no longer needing items/needing less items.

A 10% surcharge applies to the total value of any booking on a recognized holiday. Includes, but not limited to New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

All contracts include (3) 1-hour meetings. Meetings and planning will not be scheduled until the initial deposit is paid.

For ease of planning purposes there is one designated point of contact. This point of contact should be one of the initialing signees. The signee is responsible for any planning, or decision making. Studio S. Events reserves the right to move forward with confirmation from the point of contact without needing to consult anyone else.

All deposits and payments made to Studio S. Events are NON-REFUNDABLE. A deposit of 25% of the decorating fee is required to be paid in order to secure event date. An Additional 25% is due six months prior to event date. The remaining balance is due one month prior to event date.

Tax and service charges are subject to change. Current sales tax is 6%. Gratuity is not included but is appreciated.

Bookings are transferable to another date (Subject to my availability) if notified within three months of current event date. Anything less than three months of notice is subject to cancellation or a 10% of total services transfer fee. Any cancellation within one month of the event date remains payable in full.  

Cancellations may be made at any time by the signees, however all payments made to Studio S. Events are non-refundable. Upon notification of cancelation by client (Text, call, email, written, verbal) the contract will be terminated.

In the event of cancellation on my behalf the initial deposit remains non-refundable. All other payments will be refunded.

All decorations utilized for the event shall remain the property of Studio S. Events (including damaged property).

We cannot accept responsibility for any items that are used outside should they be damaged by weather conditions after we have left. Severe weather conditions may impact the completed look if used outdoors. The client assumes all risk and hardships with having an outdoor event.

You assume all responsibility for loss of or damage (other than fair wear and tear) from the time the items are setup at the venue, until they are collected. Studio S. Events has the right to invoice you for the full amount of replacing lost/stolen or damaged property.

We are not responsible for accidents or injuries related to our décor that are caused through mishandling by the client, guests, or venue staff.

You give Studio S. Events permission to use the photos and videos that we take at your event on our website, social media, advertising, marketing materials, etc., with the understanding that you will not profit from them in any way. Photos taken by me, remain my property and may not copied or edited in any way.
